My Story

I have been involved in numerous ventures over the journey and have worked hard to stay ahead of the curve in the fast-moving digital and consumer landscape. At 24, I launched my first venture, Who is Jerry?, a premium SMS service that merged mobile technology with the then-exploding world of social media. Recognizing the transformative power of influencer marketing early, I was able to grow the business quickly, building a team of over 110 people before selling it three years later.

My next ventures continued to disrupt industries by spotting gaps in the market and using smart branding and marketing to make them a success. With Vodka Co, I introduced the world’s first coconut water and vodka ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage in 2014, catching the wellness wave and leveraging social media’s growing influence on consumer choices. Within a year, I launched it in major Australian retailers.

I didn’t stop there. Two more viral products followed: Bean Body, a coffee scrub that entered the booming beauty and wellness space, and Mr Bright, an oral care brand. Both became popular must-haves, available in over 12,000 stores worldwide, including Walmart, SuperDrug, Boots, and Target. I sold Bean Body to a Chinese beauty distributor Access Corporate in 2020 and Mr Bright to the ASX-listed Wellnex Life in 2022, marking significant milestones in my journey.

In 2018, I was recognized as the Wholesale and Distribution Entrepreneur of the Year (Under 35), which highlighted the dedication that’s driven my career. Today, I’m still pushing boundaries. Partnering with Blair James, the founder of Bondi Sands, I launched Growth Bomb, which is thriving in the hair-care market and is now one of the best performing hair-growth brands in the category. With sales exceeding $20 million, Growth Bomb is rapidly expanding its market influence by capitalising on its unique plant-based, efficacy-driven approach to hair and scalp care. Our brand’s presence in major retailers like Chemist Warehouse, Woolworths, Coles, Priceline, and CVS Pharmacy shows the continued impact I’m aiming to make in the beauty industry.

My entrepreneurial journey spans digital media, distribution, manufacturing, beauty, and now hair care, reflecting an ongoing evolution, strong market insight, and a passion for discovering new opportunities.

What am I up to now?
